The Audit Trail Writes Itself.

Agents and people act on the same ledger, and every action is logged with its basis as it happens. Audit reads; nobody prepares.

WHAT EXPLAINABILITY CHANGES

Review Becomes Reading, Not Re-Performing.

01

For controllers.

You stop re-doing the agent’s work to trust it. The reasoning is on the entry, so review is reading the explanation and signing — or overruling it with one click.

JE-0812 read in 4s · signed · 0 re-performed
02

For auditors.

Sampling and PBC lists give way to a ledger that can be asked directly. Every balance traces to its lines, every line to its evidence, rule, and approver.

auditor: show me every write-off over €1k in Q4 → 11 lines · each with approver
03

For the agents.

The explanation an agent writes is also what it learns from. When you correct it you can see the rule you changed — so accuracy and legibility improve together.

FAQs

Your questions, answered.

Automation applies fixed rules and leaves you to work out why something posted the way it did. An AI ledger reasons about each entry — which document it belongs to, which account it should hit, whether it looks like anything it has seen before — and records that reasoning with the entry. The result is a set of books where every line can be asked “why?” and answers with its evidence, its rule, and its approver.
Every action an agent takes on the ledger is stored with its basis: the source lines it read, the match or coding rule it applied, the confidence it had, and the person who approved it where approval was required. You can open any posting and read that trail, ask the ledger a question in plain language and get the lines behind the answer, and hand an auditor the same view without preparing a thing.
No. Agents work inside the systems you already run — SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics, and more — reading and posting through standard integrations. Your ERP stays the system of record; Bond adds the reasoning layer that keeps it current and explains it.
Review gets faster, because controllers read an explanation instead of re-performing the work. Corrections get sharper, because when you overrule an agent you can see exactly which rule it applied and fix that rule. And the agents themselves improve, because every explanation they write is also what they learn from — so the ledger gets more accurate and more legible at the same time.
Revenue recognition under ASC 606 and IFRS 15, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, leases under IFRS 16 and ASC 842, intercompany, and FX revaluation. Each one holds its schedules inside Bond, posts its journals into your ERP, and ties out to the GL continuously — so the balance and the detail behind it never drift apart.
Agents read the contract, identify the performance obligations, allocate the transaction price using standalone selling prices, and build the recognition schedule — ratable, milestone, or percent-complete. Each period the schedule releases deferred revenue as journals posted to your ERP, and contract modifications re-run the allocation with the change documented. The deferred-revenue waterfall is live, not a quarter-end rebuild.

DO BETTER THAN STATIC DASHBOARDS

Bond's AI intelligence layer turns static data into intelligence that doesn't just inform work - it does it.
